DOVER COUPLE TO PRESENT THEIR NEW BUSINESS AT BROWN UNIVERSITY

ImageDover, Mass. - April 29, 2002 - Martha and Stewart Baird, who are 34-year residents of Dover and co-founded Aspire Associates™ here, are invited to present their business concept and plan this Saturday morning, May 4, at a Brown University Venture Catalyst Group event at Wilson Hall on the Providence campus.

Brown's student-run Venture Catalyst Group events have helped student entrepreneurs establish new businesses over the past several years. Now the program includes alumni entrepreneurs as well.

Martha, a Bennington College graduate, is Vice President of Aspire. She "looks forward to being at Brown, which, of all the Ivies, is most similar to my alma mater in being open to possibilities ". Having developed several acclaimed creative multi-media performing companies, she connects the needs of rapidly growing clients with Aspire's experienced, successful, but displaced executive team members. "Growing companies need but can't afford seasoned executives full time. We reconnect our associated team members to opportunities that stir their hearts as well as their minds. Profitable client results and individual growth blossom in the positive, collaborative environment we create, because at Aspire, extraordinary growth is our business."

Stewart is President of Aspire and a Brown alumnus who has served as President of the Brown University Club of Boston during the University's bi-centennial year, member of the Development Council, and on the Alumni Association Board. His career includes work for McGraw-Hill, Scientific American, Chandler Leasing as well as three companies he founded. He says, "I value this opportunity to return to Brown to both learn from the experience of presenting our company concept for commentary by invited panelists, as well as reach out to people who may want to help Aspire grow. It is also an honor to be asked to serve on a panel myself."

Aspire Associates is a sales and partnership development firm that achieves extraordinary business growth for small and large clients by producing sales results rather than just advice and providing other needed growth services and products through part-time teams of associates.
